Union Square Vendors

Craft Renegade has a reputation in Brooklyn as a must show for crafters. DIYs come from all over to be a part of this growing fair. This past summer there were over 200 vendors setting up booths in McCarren Park Pool in Williamsburg. Not every one who applies to sell is accepted - the final list consisting of only about half of the applicants. Founders Sue Blatt and Kathleen Habbley look for a certain aesthetic when choosing sellers for the annual fair. It is also becoming a social event for hipsters - guys and gals alike. And if you’re not accepted in as a vendor, you can always come to shop - there were thousands at last year’s fair - even with the rainy weather.
